We would like to extend a huge thank you for such a warm reception in Dallas. It was such a pleasure to reunite with all our friends from the past and to make so many new ones. We appreciate all of the support and positive feedback we received from everyone who had the chance of playing the new Jackson Steels.

Jackson Steel to unveil BlackJack model at Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree

(Note: the "BlackJack" name has replaced the "Renegade".) A professional grade guitar for under $1,000 - The BlackJack model combines old and new worlds, featuring some component concepts from the original Sho-Buds. It is the perfect pedal steel for players of all levels. Glossy black finish, lightweight, that signature sound, accurate tuning and great pedal action (superior to the Professional Series and SuperPro). Incorporates Variable Radius pulls. Each string is capable of raising and/or lowering. We believe it’s the best value professional guitar on the planet. Click here for more information.

2.8.07:

Name change: "Renegade" to be called "BlackJack".

We've decided to re-name the line that we've been referring to as the Renegade. BlackJack just seems to fit better.

We are pleased to present our new line of Jackson Steel guitars, available exclusively at the Jackson Steel Guitar website.

We are leading off with the Ultimate in Sound: our Shot Jackson Commemorative model. This classic beauty is currently available in an S1034 model, with a base price of $3,950, and is custom built by David Jackson. We will also be offering a double neck version of the Shot Jackson Commemorative in late summer, with an estimated D1085 base price of $4,950.

Xtreme is where the Pedal meets Metal (who ever said peddlers couldn’t be rock stars?) This production guitar will be available early fall, as a standard S1034 model, with a base price of $2,450. We will be posting pictures shortly and are currently taking orders.

Rounding off the Jackson Steel line is the BlackJack, because we believe the world would be a more beautiful place if more people played pedal steel. This production guitar will be available early fall, with a standard S1032 set-up and a base price of $950. We will also offer knee lever kits for it, in case two just aren't enough.

Each model has its unique design and tone but all of them have a sound like you’ve never heard before in a pedal steel guitar. In fact, we’re so sure you’ll love your new Jackson Steel, we’re offering a money-back guarantee*.
